About Your Therapist

I’m a licensed counselor, and proud to live and work in Birmingham, Alabama. I have worked in many different jobs, and been of service to others in the vast majority of those work experiences, but they all pale in comparison to the work of counseling. I’m also a proud LGBTQ+ ally. I have family in this community. I know Alabama is not always the most welcoming place. But, I promise you, my office is. It brings me great pride and joy to help others feel confident in who they are. I’m also a Star Wars nut. I grew up watching the films in the 80’s and jokingly considered them to be my babysitter as a young child. I am also a huge music fan and was a music major briefly in college. If you’re ready for change and tired of living in a perpetual loop of sadness and worry, I’d be honored to work with you. I can’t wait to work with you.
